Benny Tjoeng - President Director
Indonesian Citizen

Mr. Benny Tjoeng, 59, an Indonesian citizen, was appointed as the President Director of Lonsum based on the resolution of the AGM in 2009 and was re-elected as President Director of Lonsum based on the resolution of the AGM in 2010, 2013 and 2016. He oversees day-to-day operation of the Company in North Sumatra, East Kalimantan, and Jawa Sulawesi area and others commodities. He currently a President Director of several Company’s subsidiaries. He started his career with SGV Prasetio Utomo Co as a Senior Auditor (1984-1989) prior to joining PT United Tractors Tbk as the Head of Accounting Department (1990-1993) and Head of Accounting & Budgeting Division of PT Astra International Tbk (1993-1996). He subsequently became Director of PT Astra Grafia Tbk (1996 - 1997), Director of PT Astro Agro Lestari Tbk and held various Commissioner positions in several subsidiaries of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (1996-2000). He was later appointed as Vice President Director at that company (2000-2005). His last position before joining Lonsum was President Director at PT Astra Sedaya Finance (2005-2008).

Mr. Benny Tjoeng holds a Diploma Degree in Accountancy from Jayabaya Accounting Academy and a Bachelor Degree from the University of Indonesia, majoring in Financial Management. In 2017, he participated in training programmes, workshops and seminars, including “New Business Models, Evolving Business Models and Strategy in the Years Ahead” on December 7, 2017.

Mr. Benny Tjoeng has no affiliation with the the BOC, BOD and substantial shareholders of Lonsum.

 

Tan Agustinus Dermawan - Vice President Director I
Indonesian Citizen

Mr. Tan Agustinus Dermawan, 55, an Indonesian citizen, was first appointed as Vice President Director I of the Company based on the resolution of the AGM in 2015 and was re-elected in 2016. Mr. Tan Agustinus Dermawan oversees financial function of the Company. Mr. Tan Agustinus Dermawan concurrently serves as Director of SIMP (2004-present) and at certain subsidiaries’ of the Company. He previously worked as a Senior Auditor at the Accounting Firm of Drs. Hans Kartikahadi & Co. – Registered Public Accountant (1984-1989), Funding Supervisor at Sadang Mas Group (1989-1991), Funding Manager (1991-1992) and Assistant Vice President of Funding (1992-1996) and Vice President of Accounting (1996-2013) at Salim Plantations Group.

Mr. Tan Agustinus Dermawan obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tarumanegara in Jakarta in 1988.

In 2017, he participated in various training programmes, workshops and seminars, including “New Business Models, Evolving Business Models and Strategy in the Years Ahead” on December 7, 2017.

Mr. Tan Agustinus Dermawan has no affiliation with the members of the BOC and BOD, but is affiliated to substantial shareholders of the Company.

 


 
 
Johnny Ponto - Vice President Director II
Indonesian Citizen
 

Mr. Johnny Ponto, Indonesian Citizen, 56 years old. Mr. Johnny Ponto was awarded Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tarumanagara in Jakarta in 1990. Mr. Johnny Ponto started his career in 1989 as an Accounting Manager in Retail Division of PT Borsumij Wehry Indonesia, then in 1991 he worked at PT Indomiwon Citra Inti as General and Administration Manager until 2001 before serving as Financial Consolidation Manager of PT Intiboga Sejahtera. He served as Director of PT Bitung Manado Oil Industry and Director of PT Sawitra Oil Grains.

Currently, Mr. Johnny Ponto acting as Director and Head of Treasury Division of PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk, President Director of PT Hijaupertiwi Indah Plantation and President Director of PT Riau Agrotama Plantation.

 

 
 
Mark Julian Wakeford - Director
British Citizen
 
Mr. Mark Julian Wakeford, 54, a British citizen, was first appointed as Director of the Company based on the resolution of the EGM in 2007 and was re-elected based on the resolution of the AGM in 2010, 2013 and 2016. Mr. Mark Julian Wakeford oversees the Company’s research and technology. He has also been an Executive Director and CEO of IndoAgri, President Director of SIMP (2007-present) and President Director of PT Lajuperdana Indah (2010-present). He started his career at Kingston Smith & Co. in London, England. He has worked in the plantation industry since 1993, working in plantation companies in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Thailand. He began his plantation career as the Finance Director of LSIP before moving to Pacific Rim Plantations Limited (PRPOL) as Chief Financial Officer, based in Papua New Guinea. In 1999 he became CEO and Executive Director of PRPOL. PRPOL was sold to Cargill in 2005, he spent one year with Cargill, prior to joining IndoAgri in January 2007.

He trained and qualified as Chartered Accountant in London, England and attended the Senior Executive Programme at the London Business School in 1998.

In 2017, he participated in various training programmes, workshops and seminars, including “New Business Models, Evolving Business Models and Strategy in the Years Ahead” on December 7, 2017.

 

He has no affiliation with the members of the BOC and BOD, but is affiliated to the substantial shareholders of the Company.
 

 
 
Joefly J. Bahroeny - Director
Indonesian Citizen

Mr. Joefly Joesoef Bahroeny, 61, an Indonesian citizen, was appointed as Director of Lonsum based on the resolution of the EGM in 2007 and was re-elected as Director of Lonsum based on the resolution of the AGM in 2010, 2013 and 2016, previously served as a Commissioner of Lonsum based on the resolution of the EGM in 2004. Mr. Joefly Joesoef Bahroeny oversees Corporate Human Resources and General Services of Lonsum. He is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA) (2015-present).

Mr. Joefly Joesoef Bahroeny has graduated from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and has a Magister Management in Agrobusiness from University of North Sumatera, Medan. In 2017, he participated in training programmes, workshops and seminars, including “New Business Models, Evolving Business Models and Strategy in the Years Ahead” on December 7, 2017.

Mr. Joefly Joesoef Bahroeny has no affiliation with the BOC, BOD and shareholders of Lonsum.
