Since our first sustainability report was published in 2018, we have progressively improved our management of material topics, our engagement with stakeholders, and our reporting on sustainability progress.
As sustainability evolves, so do we. We continue to adapt to these emerging challenges, whilst finding opportunity through innovation in our operations. In 2022, we again pushed the process of continual improvement forward.
Along with our stakeholders, we hold ourselves accountable for sustainability impacts, as well as for commercial results. By the end of 2022, 94% of oil palm plantation and milling assets were ISPO certified (2021: 94%). We have extended our target of achieving 100% ISPO certification to 2025 due to new areas under development. Our programmes on sustainable agriculture, workforce conditions, smallholders, and traceability have all supported the delivery of mandatory ISPO certification.
